You guys probably know by now what I’ve achieved; traveling every country in the world, competing in Ironmans, surviving 21 days Naked and Afraid… and you’ve probably heard or read my story a thousand times. Another race in the books and one race closer #ona

Another race in the books and one race closer #onaquest to Ironman Cozumel, fueled by @questnutrition 🍪!The race this year was notably exciting with @malibutri playing host to @superleaguetriathlon 🏅!@james.brockmeyer and I had so much fun running around on Saturday trying to keep up with the female elite racers, making our bets, and cheering on our favorite @kzaferes6 along the way (who got third place!!🥉). We met @tri_thedon who’s been a huge inspo for me since my early 70.3 days (check out his ‘Man With The Halo’ documentary), and also had the chance to meet my friend @badiejb in person, from @iamspecialized_tri 🚴🏼‍♀️.These events are incredible because you get to meet friends and strangers from all over the world who are in one place to experience the exhilarating sport of triathlon. ⚡️As for my race, I just wanted to have fun ☺️! After a slight panic attack coming out of the water (saw a massive wave coming at me from behind), I headed to T1 where James, Katie and @tzaferes cheered me on, giving me that extra push to hustle. On the bike, I was chatting and pacing with @iammaxgreenfield (my fave from New Girl) and also managed to PR my average speed from 15 to 17.25mph. Considering that I’ve literally never been able to push past a 15mph average, whether flat or hilly, I was thrilled that my bike training has finally been paying off! The run sucked per usual, same foot issue again, but finished strong!Afterwards, we bumped into one of my supporters of Expedition 196, @paullieberstein (who actually raced relay on Katie’s team) and then headed to @lilysmalibu1 for a massive burrito.
